Meet Jenneh

Jenneh Rishe has been a registered nurse for more than fifteen years, working in many different specialty areas such as internal medicine, trauma, oncology, and leukemia/bone marrow transplant. In 2017, she founded The Endometriosis Coalition (The Endo Co), a 501 (c) (3)nonprofit organization with a mission of raising awareness, promoting reliable education, and increasing research funding for endometriosis. Despite her medical background, and working at renowned hospital UCLA, her journey - like too many others - took far too long due to the lack of awareness and reliable education both in physicians and patients alike.

She has joined the medical reviewer team of Healthline Media, been featured on The Today Show as part of their Women's Wellness Disrupt-HERS series with Maria Shriver, lobbied Congress for endometriosis research and funding, and spends all of her healthy hours advocating for those suffering from chronic illness. She is the author of Part of You, Not All of You: Shared Wisdom and Guided Journaling for Life with Chronic Illness, a guided journal to walk alongside those navigating through their own chronic illness journey. The book remains an “Amazon Best Seller” in the Endometriosis category.

PART OF YOU, NOT ALL OF YOU

Part of You, Not All of You is a collection of words of affirmation, inspiration, and encouragement from Jenneh herself, and from others living with chronic illness, and includes short stories of Jenneh’s own journey with chronic illness. Part of You, Not All of You doubles as a guided journal and is filled with prompts to help the reader process and arrive at a place where they accept their illness as part of their identity, but not all of their identity.

Life Often Doesn’t Go the Way You Planned

As we grapple with the rising scourge of chronic illness, which has now passed the tipping point where more people suffer from a chronic condition than don’t, we are struggling to strike the right balance as both a society and as individuals. Through her work, Jenneh hopes to help change that.
